As this film is a Teen-Drama as well as a crime film, the majority of the opening will be shot in a school to convey the idea that these are teenage students going through. However other locations may include a bedroom in which the main character spends her time in.
The story line for this would be how , in a friendship group , although things appear perfect in their friendship and ordinary , what the rest of the characters weren't aware of is that the one girl is trying to be popular and will do anything to get there , even if that means doing crazy dares which turn her against her friendship group as her friendship start to form the opinion that she is becoming crazy. This can be shown with the credits coming in with a voice of the top going 'Truth or dare' and continuing to laugh and give each other dares whilst images of the school and locations are presented. There will also be 1 second clips of knives and blood to show that something goes wrong throughout this.
When looking at costumes I would put all the characters in the main group in completely different costumes to show individuality and have a couple of them dressed as different phases such as the emo phase or hipster phase , however I would put the 'popular group' in something that matches whether it is through matching colours or clothing items. FurthermoreI would use props such as knives , dead fake birds, fake blood and anything else that matches the theme.
Lastly I would have the titles appear fast and have them over a moving dark background with action and suspence music. These credits would be in a medium size , white print.
