Analysis: This previous students work i think is very good because they gradually built up the tension throughout so when they started off with the shot of the news reporter saying the story of the missing 15 year old girl, this instantly grabs the audiences attention because they want to know why the girl has gone missing and whats happened. Furthermore it think this group was brilliant on how they used what they had for example using the green screen and turning it into a news station, and using the school sixth forms labs for the shots of the chemical substances.
The variety in the shots taken were really impressive as they ranged from long shots, close ups and mid shots. The use of sound, the scary sound effects were a huge factor in this as it added hugely onto the effect that was given off to the audience.

Lastly, the actor they used made this a whole lot better as you could see that the young girl was generally scared and lost throughout. Credits also gave this tittle sequence a bit more context as in the news station they had, in the backdrop the screen had information about the girl, her age, last whereabouts and what she was wearing. This made it that more realistic.
