37.mise-en-scene

Mise-en-scene

As a group we have come to conclusion of the Mise-en-scene that will be part of our opening.

Location:
We have decided on three places we would like to film; our school (City an Islington). We will be using a  classroom were four friends will be having a conversation. Also we will have scene in the canteen were students at the school will be socialising. we are going to ask permission for a friends house to be used . However, if we cannot find a house we will go to a park a find a hidden bench or area were one of the characters hides all her weapons etc.

Props:
The props that will be used in this opening will include fake stuffed animals to represent one of the characters fetish for killing animals. Alongside this we will be using fake blood to make the animals seem less like toys and more realistic. Fake knives and blades will also be included to make the one of our scenes seem more dramatic.  We plan to get these props online on eBay or amazon. As well as this we will have pictures that we will each take on our phones and possibly get them online. Each person in the group will take part in the buying of the props needed.

Costumes:
When it comes to costumes the clothing for the four friends in the classroom will be standard but girly at the same time. This allows their characters to stand out and the audience get a sense of their personalities. Wheres the one character who is slightly psychotic is going to be dressed in dull dark colours in a black hoody and black jeans. This is to make
her character clear and obvious to the audience. The costumes will be provided by the people who play their own roles.

Lighting:
The lighting used will be natural daylight but when we edit the final piece we will dim the lighting to make the atmosphere thrilling and promote our genre of crime.
